power-sharing Definition

The practice of sharing political power among different political groups or parties, often in multi-party systems or post-conflict situations, to promote stability and inclusiveness. It involves sharing of executive, legislative, and/or administrative powers and responsibilities among different social or ethnic groups, which may have previously been in conflict.
