Having or characterized by a micronucleus, a small extra nucleus or a secondary nucleus found in cells, especially in some eukaryotic organisms, particularly fungi, and in mammals during certain stages of development and in certain types of cancer or other diseases. It can be used as an indicator in toxicity tests to evaluate cell damage.
