An intersectionalist is a person who studies or advocates for social justice issues that arise from the intersection of different systems of oppression, such as racism, sexism, homophobia, and classism. Intersectionalism takes a holistic view of how different forms of discrimination and inequality intersect and affect marginalized individuals and communities.
