Flunoprost is a selectively active prostaglandin F2α analogue primarily used in ophthalmology as a prostanoid FP receptor agonist to treat glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It helps to decrease intraocular pressure by increasing outflow of aqueous humor through the uveoscleral pathway.
