Relating to or denoting one of the angles formed by the building of a new part or extension onto a previous structure, or to one of the sides or surfaces produced by such an extension. Also a term used in geometry to describe an angle formed by a line or plane that is perpendicular to a plane or surface, or an angle that is not in the base of a solid or plane figure.
