antisymmetric Definition

Describing a relation or function that changes its sign (usually to the negative) when any two of its arguments are interchanged. For example, in a relation R, if aRb and bRa are simultaneously true, then the relation is antisymmetric, but typically only one of these will be true, and the other will be false.
