Triglidae is a family of marine fish in the order Pleuronectiformes. They are collectively known as sea moles or dragonets. Members of this family are characterized by a flattened body shape, usually with a dark back and pale belly, and are commonly found in sandy or muddy habitats along the coasts of the tropics and subtropics worldwide. Some species have elongated bodies and prefer habitats closer to coral reefs.
