Sundaland Definition

Sundaland is a geological and zoogeographical term referring to a large landmass in Southeast Asia that comprises the Malay Peninsula, the Greater Sunda Islands (Sumatra, Java, Borneo, and Bali), and some smaller islands, mostly submerged below sea level. It is considered the center of endemism for many species of plants and animals in South and Southeast Asia.
