Soyuz Definition

Soyuz is a crewed spacecraft developed by the Russian space agency Roscosmos and the Russian corporation Energia. It is also used as the name for the crewed space missions that use the Soyuz spacecraft. The name is derived from Russian ‘’союз‘’ (soyuz), meaning 'union' or 'alliance'.
