Bondstone Definition

A large rock or boulder that becomes fixed or cemented in a larger mass of rock or stone, often by lime or calcareous matter; also, any rock that by its nature adheres to, or is fixed in, another rock, so as to form a joint or series of joints in a mass of stone.
