Boleite Definition

A rare phosphate mineral with the chemical formula Ca(Mg,Fe)3(PO4)2·8H2O, belonging to the apatite group. It is green or gray in color and is associated with nickel- and cobalt-rich ultramafic rocks in layered intrusives.
