Aleknagik Definition

Aleknagik is a settlement in the Alaska Peninsula region of southwestern Alaska. It is situated in the Aleutians East Borough and is the northernmost incorporated village in Alaska. The name 'Aleknagik' is an Aleut word, meaning 'place of berries'.
